FØRVANIA'S PRIME MINISTER, AARON, HAS resigned, thus lurching the nation into chaos.
Aaron has served as Prime Minister since November 10, 2015, winning the election on that day. However, he resigned near the former site of Quadpap at 8.30am AEST this morning.
Emperor Nicholai was showing Aaron legislation to do with self-government of states and territories, one which he has been trying to get passed recently. Upon being shown this, Aaron expressed confusion, before Nicholai explained. He then said yes to the legislation, but the Emperor questioned him on whether he had read it. Aaron said that he hadn't. This led to Nicholai saying that he may have to reconsider Aaron's suitability for Prime Minister, at which point Aaron said "OK, I quit."
Aaron has had the longest term as Førvanian Prime Minister, being the first to hold the office for more than three months at a time. In March, he became the longest serving-Prime Minister ever.
This means that the eighth Prime Minister will have to be appointed soon.
The current Deputy Prime Minister is Lee, the MP for Holesberg. However, she has been on leave recently. If she rejoins Parliament, she will be able to be sworn in as Prime Minister.
However, if she chooses to prolong her leave, Cameron, the MP for the Central Allambi Territory, will hold the role as Serving Deputy Prime Minister until she returns.
